About Andrew

Before becoming a building inspector, Andrew spent most of his professional career building homes throughout the Manawatu for more than 35 years. A qualified Master Builder, he regularly inspects homes and buildings across a wider area from Wanganui to Tararua and down to Foxton and Levin.

His experience in the building industry means Andrew has the knowledge and understanding of construction practices to help people purchase a house that is “safe and sound”, through comprehensive pre-purchase and Building Inspections Palmerston north.

When he’s not inspecting buildings, Andrew enjoys the outdoors, particularly fishing, diving, hunting and driving stock cars. Andrew’s wife Heather also works alongside him, providing marketing and administration support.

Andrew provides the full range of home inspection reports for his clients including: pre-purchase building inspections, pre-sale building inspections, Methamphetamine testing and Asbestos sampling.

They are written in plain English, include an easy-to-read summary, a traffic light “level of concern” rating system and lots of accompanying photographs.”
